Sci-Port Discovery Center provides an educational and entertaining environment for people of all ages to explore and actively participate in the world of science and technology. The 67,000 square-foot Sci-Port Discovery Center combines fundamental science education with hands-on entertainment for people of all ages.
More than 200 interactive experiences are featured in this world-class facility, as well as a café, gift shop and Rasberry-Powers Children's Discovery Gallery (a specially designed area for children ages 3 to 6).
This museum of art was started as a donation by an alumnus of Centenary College, and has grown since then. There is a permanent collection, including the Despujols Collection, which chronicles the artist's journey through Indo-China. There is also a variety of changing exhibits.
Admission is free. Museum hours: Monday - Friday, 12 p.m. - 4 p.m.; Saturday - Sunday, 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.
The Stephens African American Museum is dedicated to the preservation and cultivation of African-American history. Artefacts, artwork and exhibits are on display.
